LFWI Sub-Committees

This committee arranges courses and activities to develop member's achievement in cookery and a diverse range of craft skills.

The subjects considered by this sub-committee include those which are relevant to all aspects of music, speech, drama, the written word and the visual arts.

This committee is responsible for the production and sale of the official Federation newsletter, Hotpot.

This committee promotes and encourages member's interests in a variety of leisure pursuits such as Orienteering, Dancing, various sports and the ever popular Treasure Hunts.

This committee considers subjects which encourage and develop interest in the work of Government departments, NFWI and LFWI mandates and the work of ACWW (Associated Country Women of the World).

This committee organises the Annual LFWI County Show and associated events.

This committee arranges a variety of visits and excursions to places of interest.

The work of this sub-committee is to help, advise and support officers and members in the successful running of their WI.  The work includes forming new WIs, training and support for members.
