Message from Cookery & Craft Commitee

Our aim is to develop member's skills in cookery and a diverse range of craft skills.  We are looking to recruit new members to our friendly and busy sub-committee.  If you are interested in joining us, please contact the office on 01772 459020


As part of our Centenary Celebrations, Lancashire Federation will be selling commemorative Merchandise which will include, Aprons, Bags, Mugs, Badges and a Centenary Cookbook.  All the Merchandise will be launched at the County Show in September and other events throughout the year.  After the launch you will be able to order merchandise by printing out and posting the order form.

Please take a look at the illustrations below.

The Apron and bag feature watercolour illustrations of traditional Lancashire foods.  The Apron is made from 100% certified recycled plastic yarn which is easily washed and dried.

The badge was designed by Jeanette O'Callaghan from Overton & District WI.

The Mug is made from fine bone China and comes with an attractive card gift box.

Our Centenary Cook book is currently being produced and will be packed full of both traditional and innovative recipes submitted by our members.

The LFWI Board of Trustees comprises 12 members who meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  LFWI employs two part-time staff members.
