Welcome to LFWI

Welcome to LFWI, we are a large Federation with 149 WIs in total and offer fun, friendship and education to our members.  Our WI's can be found in rural villages, towns and cities.  Our geographical area covers parts of Liverpool and Manchester in the south, to small villages and towns beyond the historic city of Lancaster.

Each WI holds regular monthly meetings and plan their own programme of varied activities to cater for a wide range of interests and tastes. In addition Lancashire Federation provide an extensive programme of fun and educational activities for members to enjoy, including trips and outings, craft and cookery workshops, lunches with relevant and interesting speakers as well as leisure and social activities.  Members can also play an active part in the many campaigns and causes supported by NFWI.  Whatever your interests, why not explore if there is a WI near you?
